Hello all. I am moving to San Francisco in August (attending CCSF) and I am wondering what area would be best to move to. I won't have a car but I WILL have a bike so its gotta be close enough to the city. I am pretty much looking for a place where the sun shines brightest. Any suggestions?

But, if you cannot follow that biased advice, I would second the notion of moving to the Mission District. There's a lot going on there, close to BART/bus, and has a lot of cultural diversity and stuff.
... you should still try to come to the east bay for punk shows though!
The punk scene is really crackin' here. -

I love the East Bay, it's got all the perks of San Fran without the craziness. :)
I'm from a small town though; the city overwhelmed me.
The whole area is just lovely though, good luck to you!
