mike was a close friend back in the powell days. he has passed from his hep c.

i've known mike 25 years. he really wanted galen and my son devlin to meet...i hope that can happen some day. i'm glad we got to spend time driving around to old stomping grounds like the farm for shits and giggles last year. i'll have to find the pics. we talked about old times for hours.

i wish he had said something about his health going downhill recently. i would love to go to the memorial, but i am in portland. i hope he went well, and with conscious intention for his next step. mike was one of the few people in the scene who had a heart of gold...so many people lost their humanity, their lives...there's not enough left.

you are loved and will be missed, mike. condolences to his son galen and his wife.
